The journey began with a flight from my hometown to the city of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Upon arrival, I took a connecting flight to Lijiang Airport, which is about a 30-minute drive from the city center. The views from the plane were breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains and green valleys making up the picturesque landscape.
